In the previous posts we have talked in detail about investor’s visas for foreign buyers of real estate in the United States of America and European Union and about the significant value of such government programs for your real estate marketing (in case your property for sale fits the program’s requirements of course).
But there are also other countries in the world that offer their residency and citizenship to the foreign buyers of real estate, a number of the Caribbean countries, for instance. (It’s not my task to create a list of such countries here, and it’s constantly changing anyway – you should watch your own country.)
The costs, terms and conditions of each country’s residency rights and citizenship by investment for the foreign buyers of real estate differ, but the goal and meaning are the same – to attract wealthy foreign people and their money to the country. The largest countries of the world (the U.S.A.) do that, as well as the smallest ones (some Caribbean island nations).
What do the foreigners look for? As we already have pointed out in the previous posts: freedom to travel the world without visas with their new second passport, freedom for their family to live in a country with better ecology, health care and education system than they had in their home country, sometimes easier taxation, etc.
You really owe it to yourself to find out about your country’s laws and regulations regarding any benefits for international buyers of real estate (residency and citizenship by investment first of all).
Then you know whether your property for sale meets the government requirements, and if yes, you should definitely describe the benefits in your marketing materials.
Your real estate marketing for the foreign buyers materials (website, webpage, brochure, detailed listing) should definitely point out all the benefits of purchasing your property in one place – to convince the buyers to stay with you, without going away to learn more and possibly never return back, as they could easily find other properties during their research.
